Do you provide care for Adults and Children?

Yes, I provide services to people of all ages including newborns, children, teens, and adults.

Do you accept insurance?

While I do not bill insurance, or communicate with insurance companies, I do offer SuperBills to patients (upon request, excluding Medicaid), allowing you to independently submit the claim to your insurance company. Generally patients can expect to receive a portion of the cost of the visit reimbursed (by the insurance company) to them after the visit. Patients are advised to call their insurance company for individual plan guidance and questions.

Labs and imaging (CT Scans, x-rays, MRI’s, Ultrasounds, other scans, mammograms, etc.) are covered by your insurance in the same way and extent as they are covered by any in network provider.

What is a Superbill?

A Superbill is a document that lists the diagnosis and treatment codes for services provided. Some or all of these services may be reimbursed to you by your insurance company. You may submit this document to your insurance provider with a request for reimbursement. This document is available upon request. By utilizing a Cash Pay/Superbill system, Magdalena NP is able to spend more individualized time with each patient as well as keep costs down. If you have additional questions about the Superbill system, please call the office and we will be happy to assist you.
